My Facebook circle of ‘friends’ has a few authors on it. Mostly they accept as they are building their own networks.  A few accept because I have one writer/editor friend that everybody knows. They figure if I know her I must not be too bad of a guy.

Nancy Kress is one of my Facebook friends. Almost seems mandatory to get her autograph.

I was tempted to introduce myself through my Facebook alias but really, will that get me anywhere?
