This was a fairly easy get. John Carpenter was in town performing
with his band at the Majestic. We waited
until the show was over and he signed for a few of us waiting at the stage
door.
Seem odd that a horror movie director was performing with a
band? It does seem odd; however, he had written parts of the movie soundtracks
for several of his movies. He is musically inclined. In opinion, that is one of
the things that help make his movies a little more tense.
One of my favorite movies of all time is Big Trouble in
Little China. It’s a movie even the wife likes and we’ll both quote it. I was extremely
happy to have him sign my DVD cover.
