More Mr. Peabody and the WABAC trips…
I’m surprised I haven’t posted this before. I know at some National I was able to get
Monte Irvin to sign a ball for me. I just remember a nice guy.
Now, The Wife’s Uncle who has been extremely kind to me over
the years, met Monte a few times in public and few times privately. They would chit chat and just pass the time. The Uncle came across Monte’s book and got it
signed. And another time he got an 8x10 signed.
The Uncle had nothing but great things to say about Monte. They seemed
to enjoy each other’s company during the short time they knew each other.
