Star Wars May the 4th Be With You

Since it's May the 4th, here are some Star Wars autographs I don’t think I have shared before.

Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Kenny Baker I’m pretty sure I got at SDCC over the years.  Official Pix would have a booth next the Star Wars booth(s). Each year Official Pix would bring in a guest or two to do signings. Sometimes the names were BIG. I excitedly followed what they were doing at SDCC because of the talent they brought in.

I truly don’t remember anything about meeting Carrie Fisher or Kenny Baker. I’m sure it was pleasant after waiting in a long line in the San Diego Convention Center. The line would be along the concrete wall.  The one perk of that line was so many people passed by as you slowly inched forward. You got to see the cosplay and take photos.  And every now and then, you would see a friend pass by.

For Mark, I remember texting back and forth with my sister. She is a big Star Wars fan and I knew she would like this. However, she balked at the price even though it was my treat. I got her a photo anyway.  I do remember inviting Mark over for BBQ if he came to Dallas. He laughed and told me he'd been to Dallas a few times and had good BBQ.

David Prowse was at a Dallas ComicCon. Not sure which one. He was friendly and he had a few people from the 501^st hanging out with him.
