I do believe in serendipity. I walked up to the table for Nikki Tyler-Flynn thinking she was someone else. I did not embarrass myself by calling her a different name or referencing the wrong role, she just wasn’t on my long list of actors I was planning to get.
I saw a photo from the
movie Easy A. I asked her about it. She was surprised I saw it. I do remember enjoying
it. She asked if I remembered her. I truthfully
said I didn’t. She laughed. She told me
she was the one whose boob ended up in Emma Stone’s face. She laughed again. We just stated talking. It was
fun. Not about Star Trek or other movies. Since I got to Vegas a couple of days
before she did, she asked what the crowds were like on the sidewalks; where as
many shops closed like at the Rio; were people gambling. It was a nice relaxed
conversation that didn’t seem forced.
I’m glad I stopped at her table.
