Charles Cyphers had a line when I got to him. It was noisy and
it was hard to hear each other at that end of the room. After he signed, I said
I really enjoyed Major League. He asked me to repeat myself. While I felt like I was shouting, after the second
time, he understood. He paused and then blew a ‘raspberry’ at me. I laughed. It was a great way to share a 'tip of the cap' to the character and movie.
When I got home, I told The Wife about getting his signature. She didn’t know the name. Once I told her
what he did she knew which character. She laughed too.
