While John Philbin wasn’t the first autograph I picked up at Texas Frightmare, it’s one of the ones I was looking forward to getting.
The photo is from Return of the Living Dead, from which movie a lot of people at Frightmare know him.
However, since I walk along a slightly different path, I remember him
most from North Shore. And while it wasn’t a great movie it did have Nia
Peeples and Gregory Harrison. I watched
it more than a few times on HBO.
I think John was impressed I mentioned it. He said it was fun
to do. Realistically, a young actor getting paid for a job in Hawaii must be
very thrilling and how not ot have a fun doing it.
