I have seen a few episodes of Saved By the Bell. I was out of college and working when this came to fame. It was something that would end up as background noise as I read the paper.
However, there were LOTS of women in line that were excited to meet Mark-Paul Gosselaar who seemed to have watched a LOT of episodes. They were checking their hair and makeup and chatting anxiously as they slowly moved up the line.
Mark-Paul was mellow. He smiled and chatted and seemed to
take an interest in what was said. He wasn’t overly dramatic in his facial
expressions or body language. He seemed very genuine. I actually liked that.
Since I wasn’t there for Saved By the Bell, what was I there
for? The Passage. When I mentioned that
he paused and asked if I read the book. I was happy to say I did. The Wife had gotten it signed at a SDCC many
years ago. Then he asked if I knew there
were 2 more books in the series. I had to admit I only just learned that from a
co-worker and I never read them. He said I would like them I if liked the first
book.
So now I have 2 more
books for my reading list.
