I was happy when Michelle Hurd was announced for this convention. She was scheduled last year but had to cancelled. It’s nice to get a do over.
Her line was long. It was slow. Not molasses slow but you
could tell she was trying to give everyone a few seconds. The only complaint was
the signing was in the vendors room that was way too warm for the amount of people
gathered. We were all dripping sweat as
we stood in line. On the plus side, I was chatting with several interesting (in
a good way) people while we waited. That helped with the time.
As I got to the front of the line, there was a microscopic
dog in a small dog bed. The dog slept. He woke briefly to cough and then
settled back into sleep. It was not something I expected to see.
She signed. I thanked
her and walked away. THEN I remembered that I wanted to mention her hubby, Garret
Dillahunt. But that happens. I was really happy to have gotten this autograph.
