Beckin Meyer was a minor challenge to get. I would see him at
his table and when I was done with someone else and headed that way, he was
gone. It happened a few times over the weekend.
When we finally met, it was quick and simple.
He was seated next to Seth Green. They had some shtick going on at the show. They
would photo bomb each other’s selfies. When a fan asked for a photo, Beckin or
Seth would cough or grumble or hiss and the other would look up and position
themselves into the photo. Silly and fun and a neat bonus for the fans.
Seth Green had a long line. He was chatty with everyone. I mentioned
I saw him one time as SDCC. It was a Robot Chicken signing. A fan asked him to
sign her arm. She wanted to make a tattoo out of his autograph. I added that he
made sure the signature ‘good’ so the tattoo artist had something to work
with. He mentioned how nervous he was. He
reminded me he practiced signing a few times to make sure it looked good.
I was surprised he remembered that. I forgotten he practiced.
And it was pretty cool we shared that experience.
