Not much to say about the autograph experience itself. MelGibson was behind curtains. They let in a few people at a time. The line moved
fast as they were not allowing any interaction. I got in a ‘hi, thanks, and
loved Complete Savages’. He never looked up or paused. I’m very happy I got my photo
signed. picking an image was a hard decision for me. The dog tipped my hand on the
photo choice.
If I could have found a photo of Mel and Danny Glover from
Maverick that was ‘good’, I would have gotten that signed too. Very expensive
but I love that scene where the meet.
Now, how Fan Expo’s staff handled the signing and the wait, left
lots to be desired. But that is for another time.
