Elisabeth Shue Fan Expo Dallas 2025

This is another celeb I actually wanted to get two photos signed. Really, I don’t do this. And to do it twice at the same show is extremely unusual. But I wanted two autographs from Elisabeth Shue.

When I walked up to Elisabeth, she had her phone out and watching a tennis match. I don’t follow tennis but figured it was a grand slam event. I opened with a question asking if she was a big tennis fan. She sheepishly responded she was for this game (or is it a match?). Her daughter was playing and it had just started and she never missed a game.

We both paused as she watched a few more seconds of her daughter.  A marvel of technology. Could this have been done 10 years ago? I’m happy she got to see some of her daughter’s game…or is it a match?

I handed over a poster that I was getting signed for a buddy. She knew exactly what do.

Then I handed over my Adventures in Babysitting 8x10. It’s the iconic shocked look; eye wide open. When I think of her, I think this movie and that scene.

The next photo I got signed was from The Boys. It is a crazy show and I’m embarrassed to admit to enjoying it. Sometimes, it makes me want to shower afterward.

After she was done, I walked away and she got to watch a little more tennis before the next fan stepped up.
