Nathan Mitchell DragonCon 2023

It’s been a year and the memory has faded, but I think Nathan Mitchell was at DragonCon last year.  The year I didn’t go, even though I was sitting on the plane awaiting take off. Or maybe it was another show and things didn’t work out.

Regardless, I was happy to see his name this year. Better yet, I was able to use the photo I printed.

Nathan had a similar photo at this table. However, it was cropped differently. His table photo did not show what he was signing.  I told him I liked my photo because it was ‘meta’.   Nathan’s at DragonCon signing a photo of his character at some super hero convention signing photos.  He smiled. I’m not sure if he signed this photo before but he said he had a thought.

He signed his name with the paint pen. Then he picked up a black sharpie and signed Black Noir on the photo the character is about to sign.  A little hard to see but I loved it.  He even flipped my photo over so it looked like Black Noir signed.

It was fun to have that collaboration.
