Got into town early and I was able to talk the wife into going downtown. We walked around the San Diego Convention Center to look around before SDCC starts.
Took a few photos.
It’s very odd to see the setting without the masses loitering and swarming. Truly, it is the calm before the storm and slightly surreal to see empty streets and lack of cosplayers. 
On a sad note, a Twi-hard was killed crossing the street in a rush to get in line.
Looks like 200 or so people are already lined up lined up for the preview on Thursday.
Looking forward to Wednesday and getting my badge.
