As a Phillies fan, there are not too many highlights in
recent years. 2008 and the World Series was
one of them. Cole Hamels was a star on
that team. Since he was in Philly and I was in Texas, it made it hard to get
his autograph.
After the trade to the Rangers, it because possible to get
his autograph. Just the other day, I made it a reality. He signed at an auto dealership
just a town away. I was able to make
time and stand in line and hand him my baseball.
He handed it back with his autograph. I was one happy
Phillies Phan.
