Bonnie Aaron had a constant line. Each time I passed her table, it seemed to be the same length. After a few passes, I got in her line. After 10 minutes of waiting, she needed to do a photo op. I left and worked on getting some other signatures. I returned to her table a few minutes before she did. The line was much shorter. That was good time management on my part.
I was actually surprised how many fans had something to say
to her. It was much more than: you scared the crap out of me. People were ‘sharing’.
A family got her autograph and then did the table photo op. Mom
lifted the baby, still in diapers, up and Bonnie posed as the scary nun. Her hands
curled as claws, hovered over the baby and Bonnie’s face bared teeth in a snarl.
Mom and dad loved it. The photo was taken.
Of course, the baby cried and tried to move away…which made
mom and dad laugh more. Bonnie showed real concern. She apologized for scaring the
baby. And the parent just walked off like no big deal. Just typical shenanigans
at Texas Frightmare.
