Jason Mewes was on my ‘maybe’ list. I have wanted him for a while but it never worked out. I figured this would not be the year.
I had already waited over an hour in anther line and gave up
as the actor needed to a photo op or panel. I stood in another line that wasn’t
moving so I wandered away. Jason’s line
was very short. I walked up. I overheard that he had a photo op coming up but
wanted to finish the line. He was multitasking. A guy had about 10 movie posters to get
signed. As the fan unrolled one poster, Jason
signed for another person and took a selfie; then signed a poster.
It seemed to be working. The guy with the posters was set up
by the time Jason finished with the next fan.
Jason was pleasant even though he was working fast. He looked people in
the eyes and smiled and exchanged a few words.
When it was my turn, he apologized for rushing. I told him no worries and thanked him for
working through the line.
This was the first bright spot after a few hours at this
convention.
