Hank Azaria Fan Expo Dallas 2025

I would say 90% of the people in line for Hank Azaria had items related to his voice acting. Being very closely connected to Simpsons for decades, it made sense. Not being a Simpsons fan, I went a different route.

In college, a friend ‘made’ me watch a French movie called, La Cage aux Folles. It was funny. A classic. It made an impression.  When Hollywood decided to do their version with Robin Williams, they brought in Hank to play the maid. And yes, Hank stole scenes. That is impressive when you are next to Robin.

I dragged The Wife (then girlfriend) to watch the Hollywood version. She loved it and will still stop and watch if it’s airing. I had to find a photo from that movie.

Hank was doing voices based on what placed I front of him. He has a lot of voices. He didn’t miss a beat after seeing my photo. I heard Agador make a comment about too much to do. I was suitably impressed.

He signed and I left with a big smile on my face.
