Robert Patrick Dallas Fan Days

After a short wait, I got to Robert Patrick. He’s been on my radar a long time. T2 is one of my all-time favorite movies. So I was excited.

Since I came straight from work, he noticed my button down and tie.  He commented how I must make an honest living.  Then he asked where I worked. I told him I was in IT support at MK.  He knew the company and he mentioned a neighbor that drove a pink caddy.

I gave a few of the elevator speeches of MK. 50^th anniversary. The women work very hard. Etc etc etc.

Then things got funny.  Some teen and her 2 friends stopped. There were about 10 feet away and they were trying to figure out who he was.  The one that stopped recognized him but not from where.  He jokingly suggested they look him up on IMDB.  He mentioned some movies he WASN’T in. With a smile, he told them he was just an old washed up actor. Unrepentant, they continued to try figure it out.

So I threw out some of his highlights.  Thinking they were actually semi nerds, they should know about T2 or True Blood.  They were adamant they he wasn’t in that.  Robert was smiling and having a good time teasing them.

And yes, they finally found him on IMDB and still couldn't make a connection.

Yes, in a few years, they will be able to vote.
