The Margaret Atwood signing was a raffled event on Thursday.
However, because I sorta/ kinda had a game plan on Preview night (Wednesday), I
was able to get a winning wrist band just because I asked. On Thursday I was able to get in line and
meet Margaret Atwood.
She and Jonnie Christmas were signing promo posters for their
new graphic novel series: Angel
Catbird. I would have loved to have gotten
that graphic novel signed but it wasn’t available yet for purchase.
She was very gracious and signed her poster and every copy
of Handmaiden's Tale that people brought. And yes, I have a copy of that book on
my bookshelf but I forgot to bring. Best laid plans…
